The Saros Z70 is a robot vacuum and mop with a small mechanical arm that unfolds from its top to pick up socks, slippers and similar light objects (up to about 300g) before cleaning. It is the first mainstream robovac with an arm and was on UK sale through 2025 at an RRP of £1,799, often discounted. In October 2026 Roborock UK listed it at £1,599 but out of stock, and Amazon UK showed it as unavailable, so it may be hard to find new. Reviews are consistent. UK reviewers rate the vacuuming and mopping highly, but the arm is slow and unreliable; Tech Advisor found it sometimes lifts an item and puts it back where it found it. Roborock has not launched a direct arm-equipped successor in the UK. At IFA in September 2026 it showed the Saros 20 range, with the Saros 20 Neo at £999 RRP, and gave the stair-climbing Saros Rover its European debut. The Rover still has no price or release date. For households, the Z70 is a premium cleaner with a novelty feature. Buy it for the cleaning, not the arm. For small offices or holiday lets, a cheaper non-arm model is the sensible choice.
