Copilot Business is Microsoft’s small-business version of Microsoft 365 Copilot. It went on sale on 1 December 2025 for organisations with up to 300 users, at a lower price than the original $30-a-head enterprise product. It puts the AI assistant inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, along with pre-built agents such as Researcher and Analyst. It can draft documents and emails from your own files, summarise meetings and analyse spreadsheets. Microsoft’s UK price is £16.10 per user per month on an annual commitment, excluding VAT, with a promotional £13.80 for the first year if you sign up by 31 December 2026. Month-to-month billing costs £19.32. Firms without Microsoft 365 can buy bundles: Business Standard with Copilot at £18.10 and Business Premium with Copilot at £24.60 per user per month, annual and ex VAT. A free Copilot Chat is available to eligible work accounts, but it does not work across your company data in the same way. For a ten-person firm on the add-on, that is about £1,930 a year ex VAT at the standard rate. Run the free month’s trial on real tasks before committing everyone to an annual contract.
